The shelters are full!

Tempers can rise in the heat and the need for safe shelter becomes even more urgent. Today Anselma House has 35 women and children in residence (in a shelter originally built for 20) and Haven House has 29, with 5 more on the way. Even in the crowded conditions, relief is evident in the faces of those who have made the courageous decision to ‘move beyond violence’.
